Shippenville area resident Mathew Goodman received some notable injuries in a central Clarion County traffic collision. And, he was flown to Pittsburgh's Mercy Hospital for treatment. State Police explain that Goodman was a pedestrian who was weaing all dark clothing as he was walking along Route 66, in Paint Township, just after 8:30 Wednesday evening. Headed the same direction, on Route 66, was a truck, which was driven by Melvin Johnston of the Bradford area. The truck driver did not see the pedestrian walking along the edge of the highway. Goodman was struck and injured as a result.
