Forest County Shooting Incident

In western Forest County: A man was accidentally wounded when he fired his own 22 caliber pistol at a camp or seasonal residence which is located along Route 666, in Kingsley Township. Hurt in this incident was Melvin Sidney Hoak Junior of Cabot (Butler County). And, State Police say that Hoak was taken to U-P-M-C Northwest Hospital or treatment of his injury. Troopers say that Hoak was trying to load the weapon when it discharged. This mishap took place about 11:30 Sunday morning.
