A series of awards were presented, by the Clarion Area Chamber of Business and Industry, at that organization's annual dinner meeting, on Saturday Evening. Honored as citizen of the year, for this past year, was Betty McKisson. McKisson is a health care practioner and the owner of Wellness Health Options. Recognized, by the Clarion Chamber, as the business of the year, for economic development, was Clarion County Community Bank. Named business of the year, for the community service division, was the Charitable Deeds and Services organization. Given the business education partnership award was Golden Living of Shippenville. Honored, with a lifetime achievement award, was retired businessman and civic organization leader Victor Ewy. And, named as the Clarion chamber's volunteer of the year was the Pennsylvania Gun Owners Association.
