Strange Jefferson Theft

There's a Six-Thousand Dollar loss estimate as a result of a rather unusual theft incident, in northwestern Jefferson County. State Police say that an estimated ten tri-axle truck loads of dirt were stolen from a location along Route 949, near Olean Road, in Heath Township. And, this crime took place sometime between Ocotber 20th and January 29h. The victim is Debra McMurdy of the Slippery Rock area. Flaming Forest Wreck Sends One To Venango Hospital

A driver was injured when her car ended up slamming into two trees in a traffic mishap, in western Forest County. And, State Police say that Kathryn Krask of the Tidioute area was taken to U-P-M-C Northwest Hospital for treatment. Krask had been driving a car on Route 62, in Tionesta Township. The vehicle veered off of the highway and first hit a guardrail. The car then stuck those trees. The State Police also note that the involved vehicle caught fire and became engulfed in flames. This mishap occurred on Thursday evening.
Wreck Victim Treated At Clarion Hospital

At Clarion Hospital: one person was treated for the injuries which she received in traffic accident, in eastern Clarion County. Hurt was Allison Bailey of the Erie area. She had been driving a car on I-80, a few miles east of Exit 64, in Clarion Township. The vehicle first slid out-of-control, on some ice. The car veered off of the freeway and struck an enbankment. Assisting, at the scene, was a Clarion Hospital Ambulance. This accident took place shortly before Eigth Sunday evenng.

Brookville Hospital Treats Jefferson Wreck Victim

Sigel area resident Penny Geer was injured in a traffic mishap, in northwestern Jefferson County. And, State Polce say that she was taken to Brookville Hospital for treatment. Geer had been driving an s-u-v on Route 36, in Eldred Township. Geer first lost control of her vehicle on the slush covered roadway. The s-u-v veered off of the highway, where it struck and sheared off a utility pole. The vehicle then flipped on its side and came to rest along the berm. Assisting, at the scene, were Sigel Fire-Rescue and Jefferson County E-M-S Ambulance. This mishap took place on Monday morning.
Troopers Want Help Solving Mystery

State Police are seeking the public's help in locating the ownet of some items which were found in central Claron County. Troopers say that a wallet, containing various cards, was discovered at a location along Route 322, in the Marianne Dip area, in Paint Township, on Friday morning. The owner may take possession by providing positive personal identification to the Stae Police.
